[ the elder spock from the year 2387 -- or, 2258.50, depending on how one wishes to classify him -- stands at the railing of the observation deck that overlooks the floor below. his hands are clasped behind his back in drew spock fashion as he silently observes the goings on of the station. the conversation he'd had with a version of his father was more troubling than he wished to admit and would more than likely not, for the issues he had with sarek were not ones that he spoke of. it was illogical to be upset by them now, especially when the sarek he had known had been dead for nearly twenty years. it is an old wound, one that did not heal as smoothly as he thought, but one he will not allow to fully reopen. no, he's stronger than that. and for now, he is content with simply standing in the background and observing. ]
