Not that I post tons and tons of things, but in a couple days I will be diving into the NaNoWriMo waters for the first time since 2007. If I surface even less than normal you'll know why...

I'm tired. I'm trying to keep a happy thought about the future and really not succeeding. I need to stop reading the news for a while I think. I survived the rest of Thanksgiving weekend and the trip home. So far no illness from flying. *knocks wood* The cats were a bit upset when I got back, but seem to have mellowed out now. Now I just have to start the forward plunge to Christmas. *sigh ( Read more... )

There's a dusting of snow around here. Perhaps even up to an inch, I'm not sure. They're expecting more tonight and I'm only hoping that it won't be a problem for the airport... I want my plane to be on time ( Read more... )

The travel out to New Mexico wasn't actually too bad. The first leg of the plane trip was late so the connection in LAX was a bit short, but I made it in time and that's what matters. Even my suitcase made it on the next flight and we all landed smoothly. Even the wait to check luggage and the wait through security weren't that bad. Considering ( Read more... )

Got my eyes checked yesterday. A little bit nearsided, but nothing unexpected. He said my eyes looked very healthy. There are new glasses in the works, but I should only have to wear them for driving and movies and other long distance viewing ( Read more... )

Okay, so I had dance class tonight and didn't really have time to write. I needed to start though, so now I am the proud owner of 464 words on my NaNoWriMo story. Go me!
