Ahh - Torchwood's back. All's right with the world. It's not perfect but then it never was. I find my love for the show can only increase even when I recognize its imperfections. It's the only show that currently comes close to mimicking the feelings of gleeful anticipation that Buffy used to evoke. The second season premiere was fast, funny, sexy ( Read more... )

I rarely get excited about Icelandic movies but I really want to see Astrópía. And not just because the people who made it come from two worlds near and dear to my heart: Nexus - the mecca of Icelandic nerd-hood* and the amateur theater gang of lunatics.
