Next week is our last week of CSA deliveries.  Since we are ending a weekend early we're all getting a full share.  Which is a lot of vegetables, bub.

Last night by the time I hit up SL, stopped at the co-op for dry food for the ferals, searched Beacon's Closet for dress up clothes and then ran into my friends + baby walking down 5th Ave, walked all the way home with them from Union and then had a last-minute short visit from the gf, I only had time to make the baba ganouj.

I feel like I didn't have much free time but I didn't really plan anything so - my weekend sort of just disappeared.

First, let it be known that I had no idea about the tornado watch since I was watching DVDs and knew to expect "rain" early morning so I woke up to thunder and closed my windows. Since I have basically been banished to my apartment I have made the following:

- zucchini & sun-dried tomato frittata (from VwaV, but I got the idea to use zucchini from the Don't Get Mad, Get Vegan blog)

- more peanut butter w/sesame oil

- marinara sauce spiked with zucchini

- basil pesto
