Eats, Blood, Tim Gunn, Pregnant Kittehs

Last night by the time I hit up SL, stopped at the co-op for dry food for the ferals, searched Beacon's Closet for dress up clothes and then ran into my friends + baby walking down 5th Ave, walked all the way home with them from Union and then had a last-minute short visit from the gf, I only had time to make the baba ganouj.

I packed my lunch today:
- salad: org CSA greens, org heirloom tomatoes, walnuts, Annie's Woodstock dressing
- jar of baba ganouj and Wrap-n-Mat full of peppered flatbreads
- (+banana for breakfast)
(okay, I pack my lunch every day but still)

This morning while feeding the ferals I cut my finger on a piece of glass on the sidewalk (there is a complex cat-lady feeding system I have to adhere to of pushing dry food under a grate) and started dripping blood all over. It sucked. But then I ran into O and his lady on the train and it's always so nice to see him so that improved my morning, despite holding a bloody napkin the entire ride. It's since stopped bleeding which is good.

Tonight I am going to S's to watch the new Tim Gunn show (airing 10p EDT) so I will probably only have time to make the 2nd eggplant dish although I'm hoping to get the dough done for the torellis as well. Or at maybe the filling. It's possible I might be helping someone get a pregnant feral tomorrow night though so drop-trap pick-up and trapping times are still hazy - so there are at least 2-3 times I will need to get the traps + trap from here until Tuesday.
