I went to the Apple store to get a Nano because my OG iPod had crapped out with a hardware issue and when I looked up how much it was to replace it, it was $280.
So I went to the Apple store firmly resolved to get a 4G $150 Nano. Turns out those are $199 anyway and the lines were gigantor. Apple helped us out though by have the 8G's at a quick-check-out table. So, at that point I ended up waiting in line to find out there were only 8G's on the table and I'd have to wait on the main line to get anything less.
So, now I own a teeny tiny 8G Nano (green - they were out of the blue). I basically convinced myself that for only $50 more you can fit another 1k songs!
When, in reality, I spent $100 more than I had planned to. Argh. At least it's something I will use every day.
