I bought frozen squash the last time I did grocery shopping but I wasn't sure what the texture was. It's basically a puree so I warmed some up in my ill/sleepy coma like state the other night. Did I mention I was super sick and basically a Mama dog for three days? I swear I was in bed nursing for THREE DAYS. Okay, kind of a lie because I sort of got a bit but not much.
But my point is that I figured I'd offer after nursing. And they nurse so much that I thought maybe it was a sign that they wanted to try a solid. I think this might be a no.
And the cleaning of the poop was awesome I just hated watching him strain. I just don't think he understood that he needed to push. Poor kid.
Okay, because I'm distracted this evening-back to water. They're not holding bottles on their own yet, so. Do you suppose I should try giving them maybe an ounce of water in a bottle or go straight to sippy cups or just stop this whole nonsense all together and wait a few more months? I mean, I don't want to rush them. They're just hitting six months which means they're developmentally five months. Which is a weird in between time.
