A Christian private school in Ontario, CA kicked a student out because her parents are lesbians. Now, her older sister graduated from the same school without incident, so it seems like they knew all along, especially because the parents have been together for 20 years ( Read more... )

Now, if the administration wasn't bad enough, it's infecting the EPA, who have just released new rules for human testing with certain exceptions that would warm the dead hearts of Nazi doctors. Basically, it means they can now test pesticides on children in certain circumstances. (Thanks to the Whiskey Bar for this one.)

I really don't like making comments about how much the government has sucked in response to catastrophes, but the way the current administration has handled Lousiana and Mississippi in the aftermath of Katrina is absolutely disastrous.
