SPN 9.11 “First Born”
Okay, this was an awesomely awesome ep, I loved every minute of it, especially Omundson's portrayal of Cain. Crowley and Dean working together is a thing of beauty, because Mark Sheppard is adorable and Dean being snarly and mean to him is kind of hot. Also, Cas and Sam--loved their interactions and Cas trying to talk to Sam about Dean. I thought the business with Gadreel's grace was a bit anti-climatic, I thought something more would come of that (apparently this is the season of poking Sam with needles?).
But my big question is, why don't they get Cas to kill Abaddon? He would be capable of doing so. She was afraid when she saw the evidence of Gadreel when she and her minions attacked Sam and Dean earlier in the season, right? I get that for Crowley, it might be more important for Crowley to do it, to win over her followers. But Dean is pretty set on getting rid of her too.
And how come Crowley can zip around the ether with a snap of his fingers, but Abaddon (and most other demons) has to drive everywhere?
