(no subject)
whoa -- in no order:
1) we played settlers of catan last night. it was awesome. i don't think i'm particularly good at that game (or any game) to begin with, but even less so when i'm tired. regardless, it was a good time. i anxiously await when they get the SEAFARERS OF CATAN expansion. rock.
2) saw a dude with a boombox tied on to the back of his wheelchair playing techno. made for a surreal walk home from the train.
3) was stopped by the stocking clerk at gristedes who in hushed tones showed me a scrap of paper with a myspace address and told me to check it out and to let him know what i thought. sort of creeped out. but apparently its homemade t-shirts. which is sort of cool.
4) dairy river is just about done for rell. need to a) STILL WRITE the press release and b) get johnolous to switch over the provisional site to the rell site.
5) talladega is on today. my favorite race. too bad ryan newman has been not doing so well this year and ricky rudd retired. i need an auxilliary favorite racer.
6) it is an awesome day outside.
7) went up to rochester LAST weekend for a FULL HOUSE, which was awesome. watched the raw footage for milkpipe and it is brilliant -- we just need to edit. we also need a boom mic because audio remains a recurring problem. felt bad at the wine tour when dude, on cue, walks out of the 1897 homestead farmhouse with what looks like chaps or full body rain gear and we could not stop laughing. rude indeed.
