So, saw the HP7 movie last night. I have a few questions for you bookies:
Okay, so I know the book had as much interminably long scenes of them camping and arguing as the movie did (*cough*FILLER*cough*), and they kill people willy nilly (Hedwig went out ineffectually in the film). But I want to know:
- Why they went to all the trouble of obfuscating Harry when they moved him, when they were all going to the most obvious place in the world, The Weasleys? They have already attacked the place once before, right?
- Why do they figure THAT is the best time to have a wedding???
- How are they able to teleport anywhere they want? That seems insanely handy. Did she pick that up in a previous book and I forgot? Except that Dobbie can do it, too.
- Why does the Griffandor (?) sword look like a kids toy from CVS?
- I think I caught it in a throw-away line in the middle of some action, but did Voldemort say the Malfoy wand didn't work and that's why he was searching for the other one? And why did Malfoy suddenly go crazy and was talking about being shamed? Was it cause of that?
- Despite being in the company of his constant compatriots and looking exactly like himself after a bee allergy, how did no one figure out he was Potter? Seriously?
I was gonna ask why they just happened to be camping out near the sword, but the fact that Mrs. Tim Burton didn't know how it got out of her vault meant there was more to that little mystery, so I thought that was well played. All in all I liked it a lot, even though I now never want to go camping in the UK. Ever.
