Gah! Traveling by yourself is lonely business. It was fine when i was staying in a place for a few months at a time, but moving nearly every day means that you meet someone for a few hours at most.
Right now I'm with my sister and her husband, and they just make me realize how much i need to get a travel buddy or a serious boyfriend. I'd rather travel buddy really, boyfriends are just too much hassle. honestly.
Anyone want to travel around SE asia? i'm in vietnam now, but will be in laos to travel by slow boat and pick up a small opium habit in a few weeks. After that it's probably north thailand to go hill trekking by elephant, and then maybe back to new zealand. I want to get started on life (finally).
this traveling stuff just seems to be an avoidance of settling down, which is something to avoid for a while, but i think i'm over it. i think i'm growing old or something, all i want is a small farm, a dog, a cat, and a few kids. my god who knew i'd be so domestic.
