1. If you could give just one word for 06 what would it be?
lame
2. What are your favorite memories of 06?
i've got three, wandering around happy valley on the west coast of new zealand and having a series of realizations about my character, and coming back to 128 (a community house in wellington) to a fire and tea with a group of amazing people, and living on a farm in takaka, and every morning i would wake up at 730am and would walk down to the main yurt for breakfast and see the sun rise over golden bay (top of the south island new zealand). amazing
3. From 1-10 how would you rate this year?
first half = an eight for the amazing eye opening experiences
last half = 1.5 for the boring drudgery and everything australia
4. If you could change one thing about 06 what would it be?
australia (i would make it non existant)
5. If you could rewind back to one moment what would it be?
curling up on the couch in 128 with all those lovely people
6. Best vacation you went on ?
my first journey by myself in the south island, where i hitch hiked from westport to golden bay, worked on farms, and then hitch hiked back to wellington. great independence, and i learnt a lot.
Friends-
1. Did you make any new friends?
oh hells yeah. Jen and i got to be close friends, all the irish i met in australia, greg and sugita in darwin (a great couple to talk to about being vegetarian in australia while drinking beer by the pool), jess in darwin, sarah and amy in bundaberg (two cool toronto chicks), the fonz (need i say more?), savitri (helped him with landscaping in this meditation retreate he was building, a cool guy that i felt like i could connect well with, as far as ideas and whatnot), and on and on
2. Do you think any of your friends have changed?
i'm sure, but i haven't seen any of them in such a long time i wouldn't know
3. Do you still have the same friends you had in the beginning of the year?
yeah, i just don't ever see them
4. Who would you say was your best friend overall this year?
"best"? jen and mark i guess
5. Where did you spend most of your time?
equal parts australia and new zealand... i guess darwin would be the answer. how sad
Life-
1. Do you have any regrets for this year?
yes. many. some were guys (most of the guys i knew this year) some were places (australia) some were deeds (why did i hurt that cute french guy) and on and on. it's been a low point in my life
2. Has a lot changed in your life?
yes
3. Do you think you have changed?
yes, and for the better
4. Do you have a New Years resolution? What is it?
to be less pathetic

1. Did you break any relationships?
Yes
2. Did u meet someone special?
to be frankly honest, i don't think i did. that's the biggest thing i hated about that year
3. Have you had any "firsts" this year?
oh yeah,
1st time drinking straight from a river
1st time getting seriously ill five hours hiking and driving (when healthy) from civilization
1st time hitch hiking (in general, and by myself)
... working on a farm
... not having enough to eat for long periods of time
... being ill and having no one to help in the least
... earning my own living
... realizing that i'm not a special little snow flake
and on and on...
