Summary: Story isn't built to withstand heat and is very, very sick.
Warnings: Maybe, possibly, haven't-decided-yet: character death.
It was so hot. Story leaned against a wall and looked at the ceiling tiredly. Too hot. Narfs weren't made for such heat, they were water people and Story wasn't any different.
She knew that she had to get to water but couldn't find the strength to move herself. Story felt her eyes slip shut and the sounds that had been filling the house envelpped her. Her legs buckled beneath her and Story slid to the floor with a thump.
Story's head bounced against the floor but she didn't even register the pain. Her head was so heavy and her arms and legs wouldn't move. Never before had Story wished for death, not even after the scrunts had attacked her and poisoned her legs. She wished for death now. Anyhting to get away from the heat.
