Characters: Rue, OPEN LIKE AN IHOP
Setting: Grand Room
Time: Somewhere around early-mid-afternoon, Day 19
Summary: Rue flounces into says hi to the Dollsyhouse. She is not pleased that this place is so noisy or hot. :|
Warnings: Irritable prima donna with pointy shoes.
Wherever she was, it was too damn hot.
She wasn't anywhere near any sort of sharp swords or pointlessly heroic knights. That was good. More to the point, she wasn't in any kind of easily-killed place near any sort of sharp swords or pointlessly heroic knights. That was also good.
However, Princess Tutu was nowhere to be seen. Neither was the prince. And, combined, this was not in any way good at all.
The princess stepped through the doorway to the Grand Room, wearing the face she'd become accustomed to - Rue looked around with narrowed eyes. She'd never seen this place before in her life, at least that she could remember; but certainly she'd remember seeing a room this opulent. The room before it - well. Rue had explored it as soon as she was back to being Rue, as well as the attached closet. Neither had held anything of notice.
But the unopenable, unlockable door - and the fact that she had, as Kraehe, been unable to go anywhere except where she could move with her own two feet -
Rue had a very bad feeling about this place.
And that buzzing--! Even in the few minutes she'd been in this odd house, she'd heard it noticeably get louder. It was warmer than it had been when she first stood up in this new place, but perhaps that was just the change between Rue's uniform and Kraehe's much less confining costume. In any case, this certainly wasn't Gold Crown Town, and her prince was nowhere near.
But someone had to be, certainly, to keep this extravagant house maintained.
Set on edge, perhaps, by the unidentifiable humming noise, Rue's voice shook ever so slightly when she finally called out. "Hello? Is anyone here?"
