no, seriously, tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. I have to have a shot in my spine to try and shrink the bulging disc that the docs think is causing my hands to be numb. I'm a little freaked out, though I hear it's a common procedure, I only hope it works because I really don't want surgery.

and evidently there is an arthroscopic procedure that can now be done on cervical-spine bone spurs. it's done as an outpatient procedure under local anesthetic. this makes me feel somewhat better, tho now I am a little freaked out about the prospect of having my spine operated on while I am awake! somehow that is just creepy.
