Its been a long time since I sent you an update of our lovely little ball of joy and I thought it was well overdue.
Miss Maddy has been doing great! She's a little finicky at feeding time but a little warm up of the food and she is usually more inclined to start munching it down.
She had a cold last week, many sniffles and such, but she got over it relatively quick. Her teeth are coming and going nicely. I thought Q was going to faint when he saw blood on one of her chew toys the other day, but once I explained he calmed down.
She's all up to date on her shots, and we had to treat her for tape worm last week, but she's hanging in there beautifully and you'd never know it the way she does puppy grand prix round the house and the back yard every so often. She loves her crate, even when we are home she will sleep in it! Two weeks ago we took her to SOLAR and that was a real adventure for her. She didn’t quite know what to think about the vast expanse of land on the field and all the trees... but once she warmed up she had a total blast. I wish I could say she learned a lesson about getting into ant piles, but sadly no.
This past week Q took her to a dog park and she decided the big pile of dirt was too exciting and she got into them again! PEEKTURES: The one of her panting is her at the dog park and the other three are her getting ready for bed. She's learned "Leave it", it’s the only thing that keeps her from chasing the cats. She's got roll over totally in the bag, she gets into the car on her own, and the other day, she liked the AC in the car so much she didn’t want to share it with her daddy and she locked him out of the car in the rain! We have a regular play date with different dogs in the neighborhood and with Glenda Goodwitch at aunt sabrina's and Wendy's :)
