Syrens of the South at Miss Exotic World this year was just that EXOTIC!
So many great things to say about this weekend, I don’t even know where to start. The burlesque performance bar skyrocketed this year and we were all impressed by the beauty, the glamour and the majesty of the entire event. As always, we look forward to next year! It was great getting to hang with old industry friends and new, and I recommend that everyone experience it at least once! Rest assured you will be back for more!

2009 is bigger, and better with a kick off party from 7-midnight Friday the 12th . The main event includes bands, burlesque by Syrens of the South, street performers and quirk featuring the Academy Theatre’s Steampunk Parade, drum circles, and late night festivities. Renea’ Le Roux, Talloolah Love, Katherine Lashe, Ursula Undress, Guerilla Areal, blast off burlesque … and goodness have I missed anyone? Well, let me know, we are all trucking it up to Asheville (because apparently they have an Atlanta Burlesque fetish *wink* ) for the Americana Burlesque and Sideshow Festival.
