Well on Wednesday I finally turned 21! we won't talk about how long I've been drinking under the bar. I am part irish and japanese y'know. So now that i'm of legal age to post cocktail recipes with ill on my conscience maybe I'll post a few. I've wanted to for a while but this being a college cooking blog I really don't want people getting the wrong idea about my intentions. my first official drink was a screwdrive (OJ and vodka) but the second was this: (and yes that name still bothers me, a friend bought it for me) oh and I feel the need to say this: This recipe contains alcohol. Alcohol is not for consumer consumption in the U.S of peoples under the age 21 for which this recipe is targeted to
Ingredients:
1/3 oz Absolut Vodka
1/3 oz Midori melon liqueur
1/3 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur
1 splash Grapefruit juice
3 dashes Cranberry juice
Procedure
Start with the Midori since it is heaviest, then the Chambord and the Absolut. Fill the glass 2/3 full with Cranberry juice, and then a splash of grapefruit for color. It should be an orangish-red color. Garnish with several cherries

Chef's notes: It's not a heavy drink. nice and fruity if y'know what you're doing. Any vodka really will do but I'm partial to Absolut. Watch out for that folks the first time you go to a bar in a college town. they think buy making the the drink heavy they're helping you out but it's not. all else I can say is
know your limit and NEVER EVER DRINK EVEN ONE DROP AND DRIVE if you set yourself to that pledge now you'll never have to be concerened.
