(no subject)
done with my first half semester of uni ever! it's definitely been fun, i'm glad i picked classes i was interested in and decided to start on gen ed this semester. i've only gotten the marks for one of my papers back and considering it was the philosophy paper i left halfway through to come back to o'rorke for the hall ball i'm perfectly satisfied with my grade. i am a little worried about my grades for the rest of my classes - anything less than an A- average will mean i don't get to go on to second year law after next sem - but in true g fashion i'm not worrying about that now.
leaving for wellington on monday, but i'm already missing people from here. carly, kelsey and mara left for aus on fri morning (at some ungodly hour, too), the fiji group left around lunchtime, the tauranga people left soon after that (which means jen won't be around too) and everyone else is either getting ready to go out for the night or hanging with people i'd rather avoid.
kinda looking forward to a quiet night in, though. i was contemplating getting a headstart on some reading for my pol phil paper (i think i'll do wollstonecraft, but i'm not sure) but i'm just going to curl up, eat my tim-tams and watch as much bones as i can.
