Dogland
I read once that Iraq was owned by the dogs they are every where, And its very much true, We have a dump next to our fob, and its inhabited by hundreds of stray dog. Even in the city you can't go 10 minutes with out seeing a pack of wild dogs.
Now iraq is a shit hole if you didn't know before, but its so much different when you go out and see it in person, I though I had a good picture of what it was like in my mind, but it was so wrong went I got out there, it's even worse. Now granted it's a war zone but a lot of it isn't just that, Like the electric wires, the telephone poles, are just a mass of hundreds of different wires all going different areas its hard to explain other then it looks like some one just hung a wad of spaghetti off a pole.
There are so many other things to explain about it, but it's so hard to explain it well at all, if I get the chance to take photos that will do it justice.
