Alrighto, I’ve been tagged for several things, so here I go...

Random Story

A snowflake landed on a little girl’s nose, causing her to jump for happiness since it was the first flake she’d seen fall. Her jumping triggered the motion-sensitive lights outside to turn on, which woke up her grandfather who had fallen asleep while watching TV. Just as he woke up he saw a commercial for Haagen Dazs ice-cream, which reminded him of the Tin Roof ice-cream in the freezer. When he went to get ice-cream, he spotted a cockroach crawling up the refrigerator, so he got the only flyswatter out and swatted the cockroach right when it was on the corner of the refrigerator handle. The flyswatter hit the refrigerator handle’s corner and was torn. The man’s daughter, the girl’s mother, made a special trip to Wal-Mart the next day to get a flyswatter. She took her daughter along. The two talked with a guy at the store, and the guy found out that the daughter was adopted. The guy was inspired by that and adopted a boy from China. The adopted son was put in public school where his mind turned to mush. The first day that the son went to school, another kid who was wondering what game to play next after Monopoly during recess, thought of Chinese Checkers when he saw the Chinese son. The kid’s friend didn’t want to play that, but suddenly he thought of a new game that was a mix between Monopoly and Chinese Checkers, which he called Monockers, and could be played by everyone on the Internet. After many years, this kid became rich since everyone loved the game and soon almost everyone was playing in the United States. Well, it happened one month that too many people bet on the game and became bankrupt. This started a major economic recession, which the people blamed on the president who was up for reelection. The president consequently lost and his rival, George P. Bush, won the election.

Recent (Simple) Thought

Something that should have occurred to me long ago, occurred to me recently. Well, actually, I basically knew this before without expressly thinking about it in as much depth as I have lately. My personality, as much as is alterable (hmm, how much isn’t?), should generally be determined by the Scriptures. Simple. Would being too quiet and withholding encouragement be a problem? Yes. Would not being very hospitable be a problem? Yes. Would being silly constantly be wrong? Yes. The list goes on. For me this means self-consciously evaluating myself and my behavior and checking it with the Bible to make sure it’s right. Our personalities are quite flexible, I believe.

Video

Oh ... Missy’s been hoping I could convert some video and post it. Maybe I will, but it’s less interesting than you think. We’ll see if I get around to it sometime this week.

~~~ Quote of the Post ~~~
To love the Truth
Is to seek the Truth,
Is to believe the Truth,
Is to meditate on the Truth,
Is to rejoice in the Truth,
Is to cling to the Truth,
Is to live by the Truth,
Is to spread the Truth.
