(Sam [kewlsam1990], I haven’t forgotten your random story tag...)
Speaking for myself, since last year LJ has become much less active. For one thing, people have been missing, like Aaron and Johanna. :( Hopefully they’ll be back sometime.
Encouragement
Anyway, you should know that everyone on LJ has been encouraging in many ways. Surprisingly, though I’m always hoping and praying that I’ll be encouraging to others on LJ, it often turns out that the Lord ends up encouraging and challenging me by others on here.
Questions
Well, it seems like many questions have been popping up in my mind recently, and accurate answers are much more scarce to come by than hard questions. I’d like to ask some of these questions in upcoming posts, in the hopes of provoking good discussions and getting some feedback to help confus-I mean-help me find answers. Maybe some of the questions will actually be fun to discuss.
Here’re two starter questions. Jesus was a "Man of sorrows." Why? And, should we be like that? (Even though I have an opinion, don’t ask me, because I want to hear your thoughts.)
Pictures
Alright, here’s today in pictures (and some from 1/1/2006):
New Year's Eve -- Out Back

New Year's Eve -- Out Back
My mom and sister, Annie, going out to walk in the morning with Dad.
Out at lunch at the mall.
Don G. (boss) and Mark eating--or thinking about it anyway. Don't mind Don's hair... It's a bit long these days. His wife wanted him to grow it long... like it was back in the days when he was in college. :)
A Yankee shop in the mall that Mark had to visit...
Buying candles. He's getting bad ideas from Korina, I think...
Mark using the simmer pot in the office.
Walking home at the end of the day... ;P
Pink sky... It almost makes a guy wonder if pink really is a girl's color... just for a second.
Mom's raised bed garden.
Eating dinner... Missy, that's such a classic look! :P LOL.
A cool chess set I bought while on the cruise last year. Mark and I are playing a game ... one move a month ... or something like that.
... Off now to watch the State of the Union address ...
~~~ QUOTE OF THE POST ~~~
In eternity there will be one perfect, universal government, church, and family all united as a single entity under one King, Shepherd, and Father.
