Hey! I went to public school and I don't think my mind turned to mush. ;) Just teasing. :P
What do you mean by "too quiet" - ? I have been "accused" of being "too quiet" and sometimes I think people have a point; other times, not. Doesn't the Bible say that we are to have a meek and quiet spirit (well, women, anyway. :P ) I'm curious what your take on that is!
Lol. Yeah, it wasn't meant to be insulting to you or other "unprivileged" people who attended public school. Hehe.
It's hard to know when someone is being too quiet. When I wrote that, I was writing it from my perspective as a guy. I think it would be more of a problem for men since they are called to be family leaders, church leaders, etc. These types of leadership involve effective verbal communication. There's a need to share what God has taught us and pass that on--via the properly ordained way, obviously.
From what I understand of that passage that talks about women having a "meek and quiet spirit," in context it's talking primarily about submission to husbands. A "quiet spirit" might well refer to being content and at peace. As one commentator says: "Of a calm temper; a contented mind; a heart free from passion, pride, envy, and irritability; a soul not subject to the agitations and vexations of those who live for fashion, and who seek to be distinguished for external adorning." It may go farther than that, especially

Don't be too excited about the video... :) One's got Mark in it. He's washing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen in that one. :D
Yup. He didn't think it was necessary, but his wife wanted someone to go along with him to help make him more secure as he talked with a potentially mean business man. LOL.
Hehe. Glad someone liked it. :) It didn't have hidden jokes in it like yours, though.
Yeah, my oldest brother was going to see a hotheaded businessman and his wife wanted him to take someone along with him in case the guy wanted to beat him up or something. *Hahaha*
Listening to? Heavy metal . . . NOT! Nothing much at all since I last talked with you. Right now Mark is playing some of my old favorite songs on his computer -- Christian instrumental music. The current song is called, "I Will Be Here."
Yeah, it makes me think about who I am now and who I should be. I won't be what I should be until heaven, so there's going to be a lifetime of growing ahead of me....
