Lorenzo doesn't strike me as a villain. Sure, he's self-interested and ruthless but everything he does has a reason, usually to further his own interests. Kaizen is a rubbish villain because... being a villain is his only motivation. He admits he does what he does because it's fun. In that way he was a great starter bad-guy in the first Authority arc because you didn't need a lot of back story and Ellis could get straight to the explosions and banter. But ten years later Kaizen's getting a bit old hat.
I would've liked to see Cybernary dealing with the Authority. As Angie pointed out herself, she's only a chick with an insane father and she's not inherently bad. But Angie destroys her anyway which is kind of stupid as the Authority are still living on a mostly dead world and only a few issues back they were useless and desperate for allies.
In the next issue I really want to see Midnighter come back and go "Hey, I found the cure for Apollo... why is he trapped in Gammora at the bottom of the ocean?" and then proceeds to beat the hell out of Jack. If this doesn't happen I think I'll break something.
And then, the issue after next is that Wildcats team up and the 'Carrier is leaving' storyline. *sigh*
