"Who's Grandma?"

Last night was fun. I went bowling with a bunch of Rich's friends. They are nice guys. During the course of our time there, three hours, five guys had finished eight pitchers of beer, they were all getting a little tipsy, it was amusing. It was good times. We closed the alley. :) It was good to go out because my friends here aren't really friends anymore. I'm tired of trying to work things out if other people aren't going to as well. And other people are either 3 hours away or in other states. Damn you all. ;)

On Saturday we saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was amazing. I had been trying to read up to that book but I didn't make it in time. I had read the first four already but I wanted to read them all again in order. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was just too long for the time span I had. Reading Goblet of Fire again made me realize how different the movie was from the book. I understand why they leave things out but I don't understand why they completely change things. But I can't wait to finish reading them all. Even if you have seen the movies reading the books isn't boring because they are different and much more graphic. They explain a lot of things too. I loved Order of the Phoenix. I thought that it was much more developed, and much more mature. David Yeats directed this one and he is directing the next so I can't wait for that one. There was something in the story though that made me very sad. I am going to put it in a cut as well as some other things so if you don't want it spoiled for you don't read it.

I can't believe Sirius died already. He is my favorite character. It made me so sad. I didn't believe it at first. Even Rich asked if he just died and I said I don't know. Stupid Voldemort. Also, I wanted to punch Professor Umbridge in the face. The fight scenes were awesome though. I liked seeing Lupin again. I liked Tonks, Luna too. I think Harry and Luna are going to hit it off. ;)

Sunday was the last night of the Glendale Heights Summerfest and they have fireworks. Their fireworks are amazing. They are better than the ones I saw on the fourth. They are so awesome because you are so close and they just fill up the sky and are loud and bright and it is just hard to explain the amazingness of them, it is something you have to see for yourself.

I want to go to the Bristol Ren Faire.
