Home is where the heart is and I've been living the simple kind of life. Spending lots of time at home is everything I thought it would be & more. Not to mention I have saved a lot of money I would usually spend when I'm eating out or boozing it up.
I'm in such great spirits not even my obnoxiously loud and annoying co-worker can bring me down. If you’ve been in contact with me recently, I've been all "thank you" and "yes, please". These are some exciting times, folks.
And don’t forget about the party Maria, Claire and I will be throwing in our honor on Saturday October 16, 2004. 1005 West Clay, yo. Eban Doss & Curtis Oliveros have been added as DJ’s - that’s what Ken told me anyways.
So, yeah, since I’m on the subject of my house... I’m proposing a motion to my roommates to change the name I gave it... from the Titty Shop to...?
Any ideas?
I have taken a liking to "The Center of Excellence". Hmmm... we'll see.
Saturday night was the Blonde Redhead show. Despite Mike getting arrested and thrown in jail HOURS before the doors opened, this was the most fun and least stressful show I have quarterbacked. Not to mention it was heavenly to be surrounded by all those gorgeous people with Italian accents.
Adriana and I escorted Kazu, Amadeo, the blonde redhead sound guy (his name escapes me) and Carlo, BRH’s tour manager, to a lovely pre-show dinner at Jenni’s Noodle House. Simone, the drummer & Amadeo’s twin brother, opted to hang out on their tour bus. At dinner, I sat across the table from Amadeo and nearly blushed every time he looked in my direction because the twinkle in his eyes mixed with his smile was...intoxicating.
The show was good too.
In other news, Bubbles ate an entire q-tip this morning. I hope she’s okay.
