Soon...Very, very soon
Only five-and-a-half hours left in my CMH career, and the end can't come soon enough. It's busy, and I'm training my replacement on top of things. Oddly enough, an old coworker from my 911 days is taking my place, so it's been kinda strange showing the ropes to someone I know so well.
Alicia already swung by w/a going-away present: a tin in the shape of the Batmobile, complete w/Batman and Robin sitting in the passenger compartment. I already have one from a Christmas a couple years ago, but I didn't have the heart to tell her. Dunno what I'm gonna do w/this one, though.
I'm heading straight out to 'SC from work tonight, and that can't come soon enough either. I've really missed Megan the past couple days. I know, I always miss her when she's not around, but it's been especially bad since school started. Like I said before, spending so much time together after the holidays made it very, very normal to spend so much time together, and anything less just doesn't feel right. It's a good problem to have, but my heart wants more nonetheless.
