The first of the last two shifts here at the Circus, and so far it hasn't been too painful. This being the Circus, though, the pain can come hard, heavy and w/o warning at any given moment, though, so I'm not getting too comfortable. I was thinking of what my nickname is gonna be for the new place of employment, and I was thinking of calling it "The Joe." Thoughts?
The moving in process that I'm planning on dragging out over the course of several weeks is moving at the speed of a glacier, but I'm really enjoying it. I have loads of space, I live w/very close friends and I love finally being geographically central to everything important in my life. I have, however, been missing Megan tremendously since I had to give her back to 'SC a couple days ago. Spending so much time together made it feel very normal to be spending so much time together, so being apart again feels very broken. Not to nausiate everyone, but I can't believe how much I love her. I'm continually amazed by her and surprised and how things just keep getting better, to borrow from the "Queer Eye..." theme. Obviously, the Fab Five ruled the flat the past few days during Bravo's QEFTSG marathon.
I had my first day of class (Anatomy) yesterday, and this will be a huge improvement over last semester's math debacle. I was frustrated by the bottomfeeders in my class, who were content to simply take up space and goof off while some of us were struggling to listen to the teacher. The teacher himself, though a nice guy, wasn't the strongest instructor in the world and had a very thick Armenian accent that made him a little tough to understand. This time around, though, the teacher seems very sharp, and the caliber of classmate has been ramped up quite a bit, too. There's gonna be loads of studying, but I find the subject interesting and at least it's relavent to what I'm doing w/my life.
Gotta go. Be good, droogs.
