(no subject)
I'm back up at school already. I have to be here early for BGeX (peer facilitating). It's kind of ridiculous though, because all we have to do tomorrow is a four hour meeting, and on Wednesday all we have is a three hour meeting. I still think they should have put those on the same day and let us move up a day later. Waste of a summer vacation day!
Moving in and out of the dorms always makes me feel lonely. I keep ending up having to move in or out all or mostly alone. And it's like everyone I pass has a parent or sibling or friend helping them out, or more than one of the above. This time it wasn't like I really needed help, since I'm on the side of the building with the elevator, but still.
I like motorcycles. Adam's dad has one, and he's taken me on three rides. The first one was short and just to show me how it is. The second one was to go pick Adam's car up from Cheviot. The third one was the best though. We went all the way out to Miami Whitewater, and the weather was glorious. I've been afraid of motorcycles until this summer. The key is to not be stupid. There's no reason to go through life worrying about accidents. Adam's parents were really cool about me staying with them this summer. I heart them.
I don't know if I never washed my comforter or if I did and it got dusty over the summer, but I'm definitely washing it before it goes on my bed. And Celeste agreed that it's a good idea for us to combine our laundry this year. This way we'll get back our clean clothes twice as fast. I figure we'll be fine as long as we contribute the same amount of quarters and take turns actually doing it (or have fun laundry fiesta days!).
Dude! I have the best parking spot in lot 6 ever! Second row, a couple from the edge. Another perk for being up early. It's so much easier to move in when there aren't a million other people moving in at the same time. But the dining centers have crappy hours.
Welp, I'd better blow dry my hair and go to bed. The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. (WTF!).
