21 Degrees & The Ribbon

Feb 23, 2022 07:07

The Ribbon of Dajar appears in the west on a freezing late winter's morning.

I've had many pleasant seasons in my life, and so very different too, for what can compare to sitting on the wall along the Ring Road at sunset and watching the Ribbon of Dajar gather in the sky amid fresh air and silence? It's so big that the only thing I can really think to compare it to is the Ocean, and its presence makes me feel like I could either be dead or alive, or both, so tiny am I.

Morning or Evening, when the calm of twilight envelopes you and the Ribbon fills the sky, it's hard not to feel the brush of eternity.

(Such as the eternal may be, in this ever-fleeting world...)
