With all the posts about disasterous weather - hurricanes, storms, pelting rain, snow, sleet, blizzards and whatnot - that regularly appear on LJ, I thought it would be a great time to clear up some misconceptions.
Everyone thinks that Australia, much like California, has perfect weather all the time. The sun is shining, the waves are lapping gently on the perfect beaches, and there's not a cloud in the sky, even in winter.
Well, today I took a photo that will blow that myth right out of the water.
