Winds light to variable.

Drove down to the sea the other day, while it was squalling outside, and watched the horizon for a little while. Or at least where it would have been, had it not been obscured by mist and spatterings of almost-rain. The whitecaps jostled each other in their race to the beach, and the beachfront shops stirred enough to close their facades and watch ( Read more... )

*smiles* Where I come from, being willing and able to walk along the seafront in that kind of iron wind and rain is practically a badge of citizenship. Thanks for posting this. It made me think of home.
