Castiel was, in my opinion, the only part of this episode worth dwelling on. For multiple reasons. Also, I am extremely tired, so this "review" post is gonna be about one thing and one thing only... Castiel!

angels leave a mark on the humans they have a bond with/claim on? And umm... CANON!! (Yes, the handprint is finally explained.)

I almost thought they were actually going to go there. But no, the kid was marked with Enochian or something, I guess. But STILL. Castiel could have soul claim on Dean. He did bring the soul out of hell.

Castiel was a bamf, all zapping around hurried and crazy.

He has duties, and he's doing them, and he ultimately cares about them, but he's torn and missing some aspects of humanity

I think he is torn. He wants to fix Heaven, and that means that he doesn't have the luxury of doing the things he used to do. I'm interested to see how this goes throughout the season.

Profound Bond! <33 Yup he said it. I loved Dean's face when he did and then him clarifying that he didn't think he had to say it (or didn't want to, he knew it would make Dean feel awkward ( ... )

It makes me incredibly sad that I don't think we are going to see him again until episode 9 or 10! It's way too long a wait ( ... )
