Castiel was, in my opinion, the only part of this episode worth dwelling on.  For multiple reasons. Also, I am extremely tired, so this "review" post is gonna be about one thing and one thing only... Castiel!

It makes me incredibly sad that I don't think we are going to see him again until episode 9 or 10! It's way too long a wait.

The profound bond line was awesome. Total fanservice but awesome nonetheless. I need to watch again too *nods*

I quite like the idea that time is immesurable in Heaven. It would kind of go with what Cas said in S4 about time being fluid, and that they can bend it, even if it is difficult. I think, undoubtedly, Cas has been through a lot in his absense.

I completely agree with everything you said *nods*. I think it would be hard for Cas to stick around at the end, he knows Dean would be 'what the hell was that all about' and try and get more information out of him. If he runs away, he doesn't need to face that immediately, he doesn't risk returning to that part of him that is undeniably still human. It is indeed heartbreaking to watch him run away, to see how torn he really is. I would utterly love a moment where Dean reaches out to Cas, I really would, but at the moment it's not feasible. I do hope we get a moment though, a moment where Dean tells Cas he's there for him or something to that effect. I want more than Dean just bossing Cas about and Cas cutting him off (because seriously, him saying he didn't come for Dean was the perfect way for Cas to tell Dean he was being a dick right there...) I need Dean to realise that Cas isn't going to do everything just because he tells him to.

Misha is just...awesome. Need more of him on our screens *nods*

I agree, I had problems with the beginning. Things felt really laid on thick (as did the whole Dean-understands-kids thing) and Dean's Cas-mark was missing from his dream. The end I was half-expecting another surprise Lisa moment...but Dean finally addressed that his brother is not quite right. I wonder how long until we get the *real* Sam back.
LOL! No, it doesn't make you a bad fan. I know people who didn't watch until 6x03 and honestly, I am of the mind that if there is one reason I will keep watching it will be Castiel (because I'm really not feeling the Campbells, or the Domesticated!Dean--though I love Dean when they are not driving home this Lisa-and-Ben-made-him-more-sensitive/understanding fandango)
