Castiel was, in my opinion, the only part of this episode worth dwelling on. For multiple reasons. Also, I am extremely tired, so this "review" post is gonna be about one thing and one thing only... Castiel!
Exactly! :oD If all else fails, the profound bond will always be there :o)
And I thought they were going to go there, too! I literally held my breath for that entire scene. But yeah... I mean... Idk, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of connection between Castiel and Dean bc Cas was the one to drag him out of Hell. A mark was left, and even if it's not the same kind of mark, that dragging out of Hell has to mean something to angels or to Cas... it'll be interesting to see if this goes anywhere or if it's a one time deal.
Castiel's bamfness totally made my night... and I'm still squeeing over it :oD It's so awesome to see his character develop.
Same here... I mean, such a heavy burden is laid upon him with Heaven still in chaos. And with his realizing he's the example for at least part of the rebellion, this all has to go somewhere. So either things are going to get fixed, things are going to end in some sort of... military action or culling of angels, or somehow Cas is going to snap them into attention. Idk, but Cas? I think he's tired, and so totally missing humanity. It makes me wonder how things for him are going to end... will he be content to stay in Heaven (by necessity or feeling obligated, etc)? or will he opt for a half-half life, flitting between both? Or... end up spending time on earth after Heaven's issues are sorted out? Hmmm... *ponders* I'm excited to see where this goes :o)
