RP: She Would Take Any Excuse to Throw a Party, This One Was Just Better Than Most.

Throwing parties was her speciality, or one of them. And this party had been planned for weeks, so Soli was holding strong to the fact that it was in fact not a birthday party for Damien. Nevermind the fact that she had ordered a cake and had her very own personal birthday surprise planned for him. She was also going to strongly ignore the fact that half the evening was going to be spent performing a burlesque show for Damien. Though that little gift to him was all Demi's masterminding at work, Soli was solely a participant in the show.
She had spent half the day convincing herself this wasn't a birthday party for Damien, she didn't throw birthday parties for people, especially not friends with benefits; which was what Damien was to her. To dispel this feeling of weirdness that surrounded the party planning, Soli had given her usual open invitation to ninety-nine percent of the people she knew, hoping that if the party was populated with the usual crowd it would look less suspicious that she had planned to throw a party on his birthday. If Damien happened to ask, she was simply going to reply with her usual 'My Papá is away, that usually means a party.. Which was entirely true, and she just hoped he would see it that way.
People were slowing starting to arrive, and Soli gave herself one last look in the wall mirror, smoothing down her dress before making her way downstairs to begin greeting people. As she did so she made a mental not that she should probably meet up with one or more of the other girls, figure out when exactly show time would be. But being Soli, she would probably wait until someone approached her to find out that information, the less work she had to do the better.
