RP: Lunch at Angel Abbey

Summary: Laine needs to get out of her flat.

Laine had spent the first part of her week adjusting first to the ballet season ending, then to Abbi and Eli leaving; and even though they had only been in Texas for a short time, it was still difficult to say goodbye to them. Especially now that she could rest easy knowing that everything she and Eli had gone through really was water under the bridge.
She had really tried to occupy her newfound free time with things she’d neglected over the last few weeks - first she cleaned her flat from top to bottom, then she caught up on her laundry and finally she completed all the craft projects she’d been struggling to keep ahead of. But now she had hit the point where there was nothing left for her to do and she just needed to be out.
So on a spur of the moment thought, she had called Jenni to see if she had time to catch up over lunch. It had been too long since they connected, and even though she was sure Jenni was probably busy; she was thankful her friend had agreed to take some time to meet her at Angel Abbey.
