Luke had the TV on for background noise as he puttered around the kitchen. Not that there was much puttering involved in reheating the covered dishes Chris had sent over, but he'd put some tea on as well, and was making himself a nice place setting even though it was just him tonight. He wasn't much of a cook, because where would he have learned, but he was great at microwaving. And whatever spicy thing Chris had made this week smelled great.
He had taken a moment to feel guilty about starting on it without Iz, but only a moment. Isaac wasn't crazy about adventurous food anyway. Hopefully he'd be happy as long as Luke didn't eat all the scones.
When he heard the doorbell over the din of the television, he frowned slightly and walked out across the living room to answer it.
"Rivkah." Luke was sort of surprised to see her. "Um. Hey."
