He was Fi's big brother, Carrie's... whatever and Derrick felt like he should really try this whole getting-to-know-you thing again with Elliot since the last time they'd been alone... well. Yeah. He hadn't been at his best and he wanted Fi's big brother to like him damn it.
And fuck, he was running late. Not terribly late, but he'd gotten stuck waiting on a fax and this was probably going to make an even worse impression on Elliot. Hopefully Elliot hadn't been waiting long, he thought, spotting the man sitting at a booth. "Hey, Elliot. Thanks for meeting me."
