RP: Shopping Trip

This was insanity, plain and simple. Of all the places Shosh usually tried to avoid with her baby girl, toy stores were in fact one of them. She whole heartedly blame herself for agreeing to come here though, after four years she should be a pro at ignoring Sloane's puppy dog eyes.
The little girl was under the impression that she had somehow earned the trip. No doubt an idea placed in her cute little head by Graham. An idea Shosh was fairly certain he had given the little girl just to torture her.
"Mama?" Sloane peered up at her Shosh, while holding what looked to be some kind of electronic dog. "Can I have?"
"Peanut, we have four real live dogs at home." Shosh countered gently. "Maybe look for something else."
At Shosh's suggestion Sloane just shrugged, placing the dog back on the shelf before wandering further down the aisle, her mother following behind her, trying to keep the pained expression off her face. Shosh had to admit though that so far her daughter had been fairly subdue, but there was always time for her to turn into her usual four year old terror self.
"How 'bout this?" Sloane called to her mother, the four year old having raced to the other end of the aisle, and now stood holding onto a stuffed giraffe that Shosh was nearly certain was as big as the little girl.
