RP: Getting off the Ground

Summary: The first meeting to get Ranch Rescue off the ground.

Ainsley was decidedly nervous. Since leaving her old life behind, she’d not gotten involved in something so public with so many people. And she’d certainly not thought to try to be in charge of anything as big as Ranch Rescue. Not that she wanted to be in charge. She just wanted to bring the right people together to help the victims of such a tragic event and put something in place to help those who struggled to make a living from their passion and the land.
The Hawthorne seemed the ideal place for the first meeting of the brain trust. Ainsley giggled at that, picturing Sean and Ryan’s reactions. She took the gin and tonic from the bartender and settled at a table, idly scratching notes in the notebook she’d brought with her. There was so much to do to get the charity running properly. At least the horses were doing well, recovering fairly easily from their physical wounds. It was the unseen ones that would be harder to fix.
Ainsley looked up, took a sip of her drink and looked around for familiar faces.
