Rori drove on over to the Hawthorne. Sleeping in hadn't gone according to plan today, so she'd just decided to do laundry and shit. Her sleeping patterns were all shot to hell, which was no one's fault but her own. At least there was TV and internet and a comfortable enough couch. It was warm enough for a tank top, so she just wore a colorful one of those, her jeans, and one of her cleaner hats with a band that matched the color of her shirt by chance.

It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Ava was going to be there. Nothing at ALL.

She smiled as she spotted Ainsley already sitting down. "There you are! Not late, am I?"

Shosh was running behind schedule, which wasn't a new thing really. She carried her day planner with her everywhere, didn't mean she actually managed to keep to it. She was totally going to blame her lateness on Graham, who had insisted she sit in on a training session with a new client, who of course had eight million questions for her. God, she hated that part of her job some days ( ... )

Ava didn't really know what to expect from today -- well, apart from the charity planning bit of course. The meeting Rori's friends bit was a little more murky, however. They were probably all cowgirls and horse people, and she was so utterly not that, and they all had a lot more in common with her, and really she should focus more on the charity planning because it was much more comfortable to think about ( ... )

"Well, damn woman, what happened to you today, then?" Rori asked Shosh, grinning at her widely as her friend sat. "Sloane's all right, yeah?" she asked, just in case, though Shosh didn't seem upset in the sort of way that meant something was actually wrong.

She smiled brightly when Ava came in the place, ushering her over in welcome. She tipped her hat back slightly on her head, happy to see her. "Nah, you're not late, Ava," she said. "This is my boss, Ainsley," she said, hooking a thumb at Ainsley, "And this is my friend, Shoshana. This is Ava the awesome research goddess."

Vivi was running late and then the gps wouldn't play nice and kept falling off her dashboard. When she arrived at the Hawthorne she looked around for Shosh hoping she hadn't kept them up too badly. Seeing her friend shew walked to her table.

"Hello everyone, sorry I'm late. Turns out that I don't remember the area as well as I thought. Can I buy a round of drinks?"

“And that is why you and I can never travel together Vi.” Shosh said as way of a greeting, “We’d end up in Antarctica.” She continued, before jumping into introductions. “Okay Vi, I’d like you to meet Ainsley, she owns Iron Hollow, and I’m not sure if you’ve met Rori before, and this is Ava.” Shosh gestured to each woman and she introduced them. “Everyone, this is Vivi.”

"Too true." Vivi agreed with a grin. "Or heavily rely on GPS." She nodded at the other women acknowledging each name. "Nice to meet all of you. Have I missed too much of the meeting?" Vivi asked as she took an empty chair.
