At the moment Caleb was too busy to sweat too much, but he knew he'd have to find a quiet corner to freak out in before too long. He couldn't stop flitting between the theatre, the cinema, and the club, obsessively making sure that everything was in place, that stuff looked good and sounded good, that the staff were handling things, that there were patrons in every venue. Just everything. Demi was manning the theatre side like a pro, and while he didn't exactly have a full house, there were plenty of people there to see the production of Company on its first night. More people than he'd expected had turned out to see the Paul Newman double feature he had playing at the cinema, but he expected that might be because he'd given so many comp tickets out to promote the place. He'd see how the rest of the weekend went.
For now, he was in the club, keeping an eye on things by the bar while the DJ amped the crowd up between the band's sets. The guy he'd hired to promote had worked his ass off to make sure people knew about the place, about the band, and offered enough drink specials to get people in, and as such the place actually looked kind of crowded, enough so that the bartender was busy and the small dance floor was getting steady traffic. Caleb hoped the momentum would hold.
He resisted the urge to get himself a drink, because he was just anxious enough at the moment that alcohol would feel like a weakness, and also because it was good to remember that even though he'd started this place to show people a good time, he was the one in charge, and there was only so much partying he could do in his own place. Instead he started to mill around the club, talking to various people and making sure the band had everything they needed.
