Another flashback that I had written for the Scavenger Hunt. This story actually flowed right out of me within an hour I'd say; it was right on the surface apparently. It's a bit poignant, but it has an uplifted feeling at the end. Kind of how I'm feeling today... sad, but with hope. :) I hope you enjoy this.

I'm posting this really quickly because of course this was supposed to be my weekend off AT HOME and it's turned into a whirlwind of never ending crap, including my husband nearly chopping off half of his toe nail on his big toe and me having to sop up and bandage it (have you ever tried to bandage a toe?? It can't be done.
