The power of clothes.
Whenever I get such a strong reaction from my co-workers about my outfit of the day, I always wonder what they must think of the way I dress on other days. :P
To spice up what would be an otherwise very boring Monday, I decided to wear my new earrings . The gold ones. I also thought I'd get a start on breaking in my boots. My outfit itself, it's actually not too different than something I wore last week. Same pants, different black shirt . . . but when I took off my jacket this morning. Wow! The reactions!
There were immediate comments on the earrings ("they're fab," "how JLO"), and T the fatherly one of the group accused my boots of being too sexy (they're just regular black boots, no spiked heels or anything). Another co-worker also asked if I'd cut my hair. When I denied it, he insisted I must've done something different as it looked snazzier than usual. I really didn't. I mean, I only know how to blow dry my hair one way. I think it's the earrings. It's making that much of a difference!
Finally, they asked if I had a date tonight. Hahahahaha . . .
