(no subject)
I have to say... I had a pretty good day yesterday. But I don't neccessarily remember why. Oh well, I'll just go into list mode.
- I got an 81 on this big-ass History test.
- I got an 87 as my grade for my big-ass History class.
- They recently installed Purel dispensers in my school because people are afraid of a pneumonia/meningitis/encephylitis outbreak (we actually missed two days of school because of it!). And now in every class room my friends and I joke about how we can't spill the Purel on the floor because if we do someone will slip, fall, and crack open their heads. That's what my English teacher told us.
- I had a really fun lunch with Mary and Melissa.
- A girl in my class started laughing because she found out that i swear on a regular basis. We were talking about junior prom decorations. One of which is going to be (if I don't stop it at least), a little box of dirrt with a fake garden looking thing in it. However, I must stop this because. In transit from place to place those little windowed boxes will get jostled. And then, end up looking like shit. Or, if they don't get jostled some ass hole is going to play with theirs and ruin the centerpiece. Or, some guy is going to figure out a way to open up the box and he'll either dump it on his date because they're mad at each other, a person he dislikes (thus starting a fight), or some poor "loser" who isn't as cool as he is. I have foresight. And anyway, it's gonna be a shitty centerpiece. It has no height to it. But yeah, I surprised Kayla by saying "Some ass-hole" and she just started cracking up and she said, "I never thought that you talked like that." I laughed a little too.
- I didn't have Computer Apps! That is all kinds of awesome.
- My friend Kaylen and I decided that we MUST make Prince of Egypt our new play next year. The songs are pretty easy, everyone has heard of it and it's easy to find a copy of. The story is great. There are lots of good characters. Oh shit... one problem. No one has written it as a play. Well, if not Prince of Egypt we'd settle for Hunchback of Notre Dame.
- Had a discussion yesterday about genocide. It was a REALLY good discussion. We talked about Darfur and a bit about the Armenian genocide, and the Holocaust and how it's really 11 milion people killed by the Holocaust, there were six million jews killed but there were five million people killed for other reasons. That was an awesome discussion. And I like to think that I contributed to it. But at least I was able to draw a world up on the board... I erased my friend's and put my own up because hers looked like a Katamari head.
- Exercised. What I've started doing is sticking a movie on and running in place. I ran for twenty-five minute without cramping up. Yes, I know... It took thirty-five minues because I took some five minute pauses. But I didn't cramp up which is good. I really like exercising like this. I get to watch an episode of TV and I get to feel healthy about myself as I do it. Eventually I want to be able to jog through an entire episode. Wish me luck.
