Lion-O sat on the large couch, his arms spread across the back of it. The gauntlet and Sword of Omens was attached to his new pants. Black with long blue neon lines running down the legs. His armor was gone and replaced with a matching short sleeve shirt. Bright blue and orange glow rings are around his wrists and ankles, all lovingly provided by ( Read more... )

Yugi was enjoying this place. The music, clothing, and the glowing red and violet rings around his wrists and neck were a nice touch. Clubbing wasn't something he usually did, but he could handle this.

Someone else seemed to not be having such a good time. He'd passed Lion-O several times through the evening, and now leaned on the couch arm to talk to him. "You seem like you have something on your mind."

Lion-O looked over at the boy and had to admit his outfit looked good. Much more flashy than his own. Though he was enjoying the blue and orange. He nodded to his statement. What was the point in hiding it after all when it was plain on his face.

"Yeah, I do. You probably want to be having fun though. You don't have to worry about me."

"I wouldn't mind. If you're bothered by something, you must be here to get over it," Yugi said. The gamer actually looked too young to be at the party, much less the Hotel, but he was there, decked out in his leather and glow rings.

"I guess that's what it was thinking. Maybe. I don't know. But...can I ask you something? How old are you?" The King raised an eyebrow and looked Yugi over. This kid looked really young and depending on his age, he might have to get him out of here before this party turns into one that is much more in line with the hotel's wants.

Akiko wasn't really one for clubbing, and that was where the hotel seemed to want her to be at the moment. Of course. It also stuck her into its usual idea of what was a nice outfit and left her in the middle of a mesh of grinding bodies and light.

Pushing her way through it, she fought to the edges where someone shoved a green drink into her hand. She downed it, hoping it would calm her nerves somewhat. The dark-haired woman spotted a couch, and while it wasn't empty, it was better than nothing.

Akiko walked over, pausing in front of the man already taking up the couch and gesturing at the spot next to him.

"May I sit here?"

Lion-O hadn't noticed Akiko walking toward him at first. He figured it was just another person coming by to pass him on the way to the bar. But when she stopped in front of him, his green eyes looked up her body, taking in the outfit and her form inside it. His eyes met hers and for a moment he didn't know what to say. She was beautiful, that was for sure. He nodded and cleared his throat, finally snapping out of his stupor.

"Of course. Here." He motioned to the spot beside him and moved over a bit so he wasn't taking up the entire center of the couch.

Akiko smiled gratefully, sitting down on the sofa with a sigh.

"Oh, that's much better," she said, looking over at her new companion. He was definitely much more different than any man she had seen before--in fact, there was something about him that was almost inhuman. But not bad looking at all. "Not into dancing either, huh?"

The King smiled weakly at the woman. It was nice to be able to help someone at least. He leaned back more on the couch and shook his head at her question.

"Not really. I've never been very good at it. And I just got back to the Hotel. So I thought I'd take it easy. Never know what kind of tricks it will play, right?"

Hmm...for aphro...increasing up to high, depending on how our muses click? :3 rainboomaviator November 28 2011, 19:35:33 UTC
Pushing out through the club's dance floor crowd, Rainbow exhaled heavily. She had practically had to suck in her stomach and zip through couples dancing to get through that bedlam. Her drink was still held onto tightly.

Daring another sip, she looked down at herself and could only laugh at her attire. With each event, the Hotel seemed well-stocked with supplies and outfits matching the occasion would be dropped off at each person's door. Well, at least each person that it knew would enjoy fun of this degree. Rainbow's consisted of a pair of rainbow metallic arm bands, and shorts and a matching corset top, both black with purple, blue, and green accents highlighting the clothing's hems and the corset's ribs ( ... )

Sounds perfect. ^__^ bipolar_king November 28 2011, 20:18:57 UTC
Lion-O looked up and took in the sight of the girl with the rainbow hair. That was new, even for him. He hadn't seen any humans yet with hair that many colors. He leaned back against the sofa and let out a sigh. He tried to smile but it wasn't convincing even to himself. He ended up shrugging and looking down at the sofa.

"Guess I'm not really in the mood for dancing." He looked up again and her hair caught his attention yet again. "I'm Lion-O. What's your name?"

Of course he would be staring at her hair. Being lost in a crowd was never a problem for the tomboy. That also made her the 'prey' of one too many of these party-goers with too many of the aphrodisiacs in their systems. That was annoying to keep having to get away from.

"Yeah, I'm not a big dancer either," she said, laughing a bit. "Lack the grace for it. And I'm Rainbow Dash. Nice to meet you, Lion-O." This felt a bit more comforting. She knew right off the bat he was no human, and that meant unlike them, he wouldn't find her as strange. However, she wasn't about to pass the buck about what she truly was.

"So, you just here to get away from somethin'? You look like you've been upset."

"I know how that goes. I skipped all my dance lessons. Just didn't seem fun." He laughed, remembering those days when he'd vanish to get out of those dance lessons and how furious his father was. But in the end he escaped that particular fate. His face fell a bit when she mentioned getting away from something though.

"Kind of. More like the Hotel pulled me away from it. And the funny part? I don't really mind I think. I don't mind being back here again."

Now that was a familiar face. Lion-O laughed at the question and shook his head. "No, you're not hallucinating. It's me. Good to see you again Holli."

Normal hugs were for the weak anyway. Lion-O laughed as she bound over to him. Luckily he was sitting so she just ended up in his lap, his arms wrapping around her. Good thing this thing seemed bolted into the floor.

"It's good to see you too Holli. How have you been?"

This place was certainly different from anywhere he'd been, but Tails had to admit he liked it here. The music just gave the techie air that he was so into and the clothes...well he liked stuff that glowed, and was wearing a few glow rings on his tails as they wagged to the beat.

He he'd been dancing off and on, though not fully out in the crowd, and decided to take a break and moved to the couch Lion-O was at. "Mind company?"

Lion-O smiled at the fox and moved over on the couch. He patted the spot next to him and leaned back again. "Not at all. Enjoying the party?" Someone to take his mind off his troubles was welcome and this guy looked like he could almost be from Third Earth. Plus that was one impressive outfit he had on. Very nice.

"Yeah," Tails replied with a grin, flopping down beside the king with a smile. His twin tails dangled between his legs and off of the couch. "I've never been to one like this before."

He thought the look of the other male suited him.

"Neither have I. We don't have anything like this back in my world. How about yours?" The king continued to smile as he spoke. Having another animal next to him helped him feel a little more at ease. Sure he wanted to be away from home but that didn't mean he wanted to avoid everything from home. Just two people in particular.
