I'd written a bit of meta - here and here - on the Philip Noyce-directed action movie, Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, when I saw it in 2010. Evidently I can't leave Salt well enough alone. It hits my buttons more than Inception does, though the why behind that is a question probably best left for another day.

"Who is Salt?" all the posters for the film read. A patriot? A double agent? A loving wife? A loyal servant of her country? I have my own thoughts about all of this, part of which I've written before. The more I think about Evelyn Salt, the more interesting I find her, and the more I like the film and how Angelina Jolie plays the character.
