I have theories. They don't usually work out.

SO I RANTED ON LJ THE OTHER NIGHT AND NOW I FEEL BETTER :D

I FINALLY finished The Third Policeman and we're going to start The Satanic Verses sometime. Maybe I will start tomorrow night! The library is closed today so I can't go pick up the book until tomorrow ):

Also tomorrow I'm hanging out with Katie! We've put this off a couple of times already because we fail. I declined to go with them to the extended version of The Return of the King with them because X( I don't want to die in a fiery carwreck on the way home. Or fall asleep during the movie, which is way more likely.

(On that note, one of the LoTR movies is the only movie I've ever fallen asleep during in the movie theatre.)

I had to cancel on an ACT training because I picked up a class. One in Arcadia, one in Pasadena, one in Claremont. It's like going back to college, and then going back to high school! I flipped through the info on our other classes and I totally want to train for MCAT Verbal and the GRE, so that I know what's what when I take the GRE again :'D

The preliminary Fulbright application isn't due until August, yessssssssssss. That actually gives me time to figure out a project, as well as feel out some potential affiliations.

I should also write the paper I was planning on submitting for the graduate student prize at the SEC conference next year :/

Also yesterday I finished Shortcomings by Adrian Tomine, which is a fantastic graphic novel. I was intensely uncomfortable through most of it in the best sense of the word, the kind of uncomfortable that you know exists because it's hitting close to home, or close to something you yourself are guilty of or secretly worry about. I'm working on American-Born Chinese now, which I already know I love and is even funnier the second time through.

I've about hit the limit on the things I can make with the beads I currently have. I know because I've started to grasp at new ideas and new things I want, so I think I'll be making a trip to Arcadia and the bead store on Wednesday.

Speaking of which! Yesterday I did a complete inventory of everything I have with me (I had a leave a bunch of things in North Carolina because OMG PANIC) and started relisting and listing new items :> I am so proud of myself, yay! ♥

Yeah, shut up, that heart was for me.

Uhhhhhh I kind of want to go back to watching anime ): Also last night I watched an episode of GM踊れドクター and omg. It's like House. Only with Japanese people. And dancing.
